Digital delivery
The digital gift is delivered the moment your payment is confirmed.
After checkout you are taken to a confirmation page with a private link to your keepsake. That link is your gift: you can forward it by message or email, write it inside a card, or print the keepsake yourself at home. The page shows the personalised card and the link to follow the stork’s journey.
Digital delivery is instant and available in every country. There is nothing physical to ship and nothing to wait for.
Keep the private link somewhere safe. It is not recoverable by anyone else, and it is the only way to open the keepsake.
Printed delivery
A printed card, produced to order and posted to a door.
When you choose printed delivery at checkout, your personalised card is produced by our print-on-demand partner and shipped to the address you provide. It is printed only after you order, exactly as you previewed it, and packaged to survive the journey.
Printed gifts are personalised to your wording, so they cannot simply be resold if you change your mind. That affects your return rights, explained below.
You will need to provide a complete and accurate delivery address, including the recipient name, street, city, postcode and country. We can only deliver correctly if the address is correct, so please check it carefully before paying.
Production & shipping timelines
Timelines depend on where the card is being sent and how quickly our print partner is running. As a guide:
| Stage | Typical time |
|---|---|
| Production | 1 to 3 business days after payment |
| Shipping within Europe | 3 to 7 business days after dispatch |
| Shipping to the UK, US, Canada | 5 to 10 business days after dispatch |
| Shipping to Australia, New Zealand, Japan | 7 to 14 business days after dispatch |
These are estimates, not guarantees. Busy seasons (such as December) and customs clearance can add time. We will always show the most accurate estimate available to us at checkout.
Countries we ship to
Printed gifts ship to most of Europe (including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria, and the Nordics), the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway, the United States and Canada, and Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
The full, current list is shown at checkout in the country selector. If your country is not listed, the digital gift is always available to you. You can print the keepsake yourself at home.
Shipping costs
A printed card is charged at the cost of print and postage, which depends on where the card is going. You will always see the total before you pay, and there are no charges added afterwards.
If your country applies import duties or taxes on delivery, those are the recipient’s responsibility and are not included in our price. For most European orders no additional charges apply.
Damaged or missing prints
If your card arrives damaged, or does not arrive at all, we will make it right.
If it arrives damaged, contact us within 14 days of delivery, ideally with a photograph of the damage and the packaging. We will arrange a free replacement.
If it has not arrived within the expected window, contact us and we will investigate with the carrier. If it is confirmed lost, we will send a replacement at no cost.
We ask that you report problems promptly so we can act while the details are fresh, and because some carrier claims have time limits.
Returns & refunds
We want you to be happy with the gift, and we will always treat a problem fairly. Here is how it works in practice:
- Digital gifts are delivered immediately and are personalised to you, so once delivered they are not returnable for a change of mind. If something is technically wrong, contact us and we will fix it or refund it.
- Printed gifts are made to order with your wording, so they cannot be returned for a change of mind. If they arrive faulty, damaged, or materially different from your preview, we replace or refund them.
To request a refund or replacement, contact us through the details on our imprint page with your order reference and a short description of the problem. We aim to respond within two business days.
Your right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you generally have a right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days. However, that right does not apply to:
- Digital content supplied immediately after purchase, where you agreed that the right would be lost once delivery began.
- Goods made to your specification or clearly personalised, which includes cards printed with your names and message.
Because our gifts are personalised, most purchases fall into these exceptions. Nothing here removes your statutory rights where goods are faulty or not as described. Those rights always apply.
If you believe you are entitled to a refund under these rules, contact us and we will assess your request honestly and promptly.
